Three people have died after a helicopter crashed on a remote beach on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, according to authorities.
The helicopter, operated by Airborne Aviation, crashed into the ocean off Kalalau Beach on Kauai’s north shore at around 3.45pm local time on Thursday.
According to Kauai Police Department, there was one pilot and four passengers on board. Three have died and two have been transported to Wilcox Medical Center for treatment. The identities of those on board has not been revealed.
