HopCat announces grand opening at Great Lakes Crossing – Detroit Metro Times

Michigan-based craft beer bar chain HopCat is readying to open its latest location at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills.

Fans can get a first look at the new restaurant and contribute to a good cause at the same time. The new location is hosting a soft opening benefit from 4-10 p.m. on Saturday, May 2. A $15 donation grants entry and one complimentary meal, with all proceeds going toward the HopCat Employee & Community Assistance Fund to support workers and residents facing financial hardship.

HopCat Auburn Hills will officially celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, May 9, with doors opening at 10 a.m. The first 200 guests will win free Cosmick Fries for one year, with other free HopCat-branded prizes available. 

The restaurant will feature some 40 craft beers on tap and can accommodate up to 300 guests. It’s located in the former Bar Louie space in the mall.

Great Lakes Crossing Outlets is located at 4390 Baldwin Rd., Auburn Hills.
