35-year-old man fatally shot in Avalon Park

A 35-year-old man was shot to death in Avalon Park late Saturday, Chicago police said.

The man was in the 1600 block of East 85th Place when he was shot in the back around 10:20 p.m., according to police. He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

No one has been arrested, police said.
