A man is recovering in good condition after being stabbed when a fight erupted during an attempted robbery early Friday on a CTA Green Line train in Austin on the West Side.
The 37-year-old man was riding the train around 2:30 a.m. in the 300 block of North Central Avenue when someone with a sharp object approached and demanded his property, Chicago police said.
A fight ensued and the man was cut in his left forearm, police said. He was taken to West Suburban Hospital where he was in good condition.
No one was in custody.
