Within the span of five miles lies two rival girls basketball programs that are among the best in the state in their respective classes: Class B’s Mechanicville and Class C’s Stillwater. The two squads, both competing out of the Wasaren League, met up Monday night in Mechanicville for a highly-anticipated matchup that would shake up the top of the league standings.
