Nick Reiner would ‘not sleep for days,’ punch walls during meth-fueled rages: report

Rob Reiner’s black sheep son Nick, who’s accused of fatally stabbing his famous father and mother, “would do meth and not sleep for days” and then punch walls during “outbursts,” according to a report.

The 32-year-old accused killer has long struggled with drugs and was described as a “ticking time bomb” whose parents wanted him out of their hair, an insider claimed to the Daily Mail.

Nick faces first-degree murder charges in the knifing deaths of “The Princess Bride” director and wife Michele Singer Reiner, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office said Tuesday.

The middle child was living in their parents’ guest house attached to their sprawling Brentwood estate the past five years even as his behavior became more turbulent, a source close to Reiner told the Daily Mail.

“He would do meth and not sleep for days and then have outbursts, breaking things, punching walls,” the source claimed.

“He was a ticking time bomb,” the friend added. “His drug use was getting worse and his parents wanted him out.”

The source also alleged that Nick destroyed the guesthouse more than once and then laughed at the chaos he caused, even being “nonchalant about it.”

The source also claimed Nick would go to group meetings, but stopped because the nepo baby said it was “too cultish.”

At one point, he even allegedly threatened his sister for confronting him about his problems and that’s when “all hell broke loose,” the source said.

“His parents threatened to call authorities multiple times, but in the end didn’t.” the insider said, also stating, “He would fight with his parents because they would give him the ultimatum, take medication and stop using, or move out.”

Nick, who was in and out of rehab more than a dozen times, recalled in a 2018 interview on the “Dopey” podcast talked about a meth-fueled bender that left him “up for days” and “punching out some things” in the guesthouse.

Rob, 78, and Michele, 70, were found dead by their daughter, Romy, Sunday afternoon, according to sources. The two bodies were already in a state of rigor mortis when they were discovered, TMZ reported, citing sources.

Nick and his now-slain parents got into an argument during Conan O’Brien’s holiday party with his adult son’s behavior raising eyebrows among attendees, sources said.
