President Donald Trump has asked whichever candidate he doesn’t support to withdraw from the Republican nominee race for U.S. Senate, but Paxton has preemptively refused. Instead, he’s offered to drop out if Senate Leadership agrees to pass the Save America Act, which is unlikely to happen.
