Rhea Ripley is getting a WWE Women’s Championship match at “WrestleMania 42.” Reigning titleholder Jade Cargill was in a suite watching the women’s “Elimination Chamber 2026” match carefully. The participants in the match were Ripley, Tiffany Stratton, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Raquel Rodriguez, and Kiana James.
The final two competitors left inside the chamber were Ripley and Stratton. “The Eradicator” was able to land Riptide to secure the three-count. Ripley will now challenge Cargill for the top female prize of the “SmackDown” brand at “WrestleMania 42.”

Jade Cargill’s First Big Test is Rhea Ripley
Cargill has been the WWE Women’s Champion for over 100 days. She’s had one successful title defense against Jordynne Grace. The “WrestleMania 42” clash with Ripley will be the most high-profile match Cargill has had as a world champion.
Ripley became the favorite to win the women’s chamber match after she and Iyo Sky failed to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Nia Jax and Lash Legend on Friday’s episode of “SmackDown.”
There’s no word on what Sky will be left to do at “WrestleMania,” but many suspect it’ll have something to do with either Kairi Sane and Asuka or WWE Women’s United States Champion Giulia. As for Ripley, she’s back in world title contention in time for WWE’s biggest annual show.
