The new pack features four beers inspired by Derrick White, Garrett Crochet, Julian Edelman, and Zdeno Chara.
Samuel Adams is tapping into Boston sports fandom with a new variety pack created alongside four of the city’s most popular athletes.
The Boston-born brewery announced this week that it has launched its new “Our City. Our Beer.” variety pack, made in collaboration with Celtics guard Derrick White, Red Sox pitcher Garrett Crochet, former Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman, and former Bruins captain Zdeno Chára.

The pack includes four different beers, each themed around one of the athletes:
- “(Derrick) White Ale”: A 5.3% wheat ale with citrus flavor and a touch of spice
- “Crochet’s Pale Ale”: A 5.8% American pale ale with intense citrus hops and a tropical aroma
- “Julian Edel-Brau Lager”: A 6.2% lager with caramel and toffee notes
- “Big Z Pilsner”: A 5.0% pilsner with subtle malt sweetness and floral hop character
Samuel Adams will celebrate the release with a public launch party at Banners Kitchen & Tap in Boston on April 4. The ticketed event will be open to the public, and all four athletes are expected to appear behind the bar to serve their beers.
The 12-pack is available now in stores. The beers are also set to rotate on draft at select bars and restaurants during their corresponding sports seasons.
