A tornado watch has been issued for Arkansas days after the state was reportedly hit by its first confirmed tornado of 2026.
According to the National Weather Service, alerts are in place until 5AM local time Wednesday for 14 counties including Pope, Yell, Marion, Searcy, Pike and Montgomery.
It comes after an EF-2 tornado struck the state early Saturday, injuring one person, according to local news outlet KARK.
