The USNS Hector A. Cafferata Jr. (T-ESB-8), the sixth and final ship in the Navy’s Expeditionary Sea Base program, was christened in San Diego, honoring Marine Corps hero Hector A. Cafferata Jr. for his bravery during the Korean War.
