MIAMI (WSVN) – Firefighters have gained ground on a brush fire that has been burning in west Miami-Dade.
Officials say the Highway 41 fire has been downgraded to a type 4 incident.
According to officials, the fire is 77% is contained and more than 9000 acres have been burned.
The emergency closure has been lifted, allowing the public to re-enter the area
