Where is Sunny Hostin? ‘The View’ co-host missing from the start of today’s episode

The View‘s Hot Topics Table was missing a co-host this morning.

While Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin were present on Monday’s episode, Sunny Hostin was noticeably absent. Fortunately Goldberg didn’t leave anything up to speculation, immediately addressing Hostin’s absence after welcoming members of the studio audience to the show.

“First of all, I have to tell you, Sunny’s out today, but you’ll see her later on in the ‘View Your Deal,’ which they probably shot several weeks ago,” Goldberg explained.

Haines teased, “We sure did.”

Fortunately, Goldberg assured viewers that Hostin will “be back tomorrow.”

The co-hosts proceeded with business as usual afterward, as Haines took a moment to compliment Goldberg’s sweater, which had the word “WEIRDO” written on it.

“Thank you,” Goldberg replied. “I rarely get a sweater that has my first name on it.”

Though Hostin was not there, The View welcomed Ramy Youssef on Monday to discuss his new HBO comedy special, Ramy Youssef: In Love.

The guest lineup for the rest of the week on The View includes Taraji P. Henson, Cedric the Entertainer, Charlize Theron, Kate Hudson, Justin Theroux, Taron Egerton, and Kathy Griffin.

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
