A new winner of Million Dollar Secret has been declared.
The game show, which is hosted by Peter Serafinowicz, brings a group of regular Joes into a luxurious lakeside estate, where only one of them is given a box that holds a whopping $1 million. The rest of the players must, in turn, try to guess who has the money, or risk being eliminated themselves. Should they correctly pinpoint the secret millionaire at the elimination dinner, the money moves to a new person, who must take over the role of hiding in plain sight.
Going into the eighth episode of the show’s sophomore season, only four finalists remain: Nick Pellecchia, Kaleb Moon, Kat Ellis, and Lauren Gierth. After Ellis is eliminated and Gierth comes in third during the final challenge, Moon—who has the money in his box—is forced to take a risk: should he secretly move his money to Pellecchia’s box (and hope that Pellecchia switches it back) or keep the money (and hope that Pellecchia chooses not to switch their boxes)? Following some serious thought, Moon decides to keep their boxes the way they are. Should Pellecchia do the same, then Moon wins the money.
So, did Pellecchia switch their boxes? Who won Million Dollar Secret Season 2? Keep reading for everything we know.
Who won Million Dollar Secret Season 2?
After a tense final day at The Stag, Nick Pellecchia was crowned the winner of Million Dollar Secret Season 2. In sniffing out Kaleb Moon’s bluff, Pellecchia successfully switched out his empty box with Moon’s money-filled box, ultimately walking away with the full $1 million for himself. So, what does the 27-year-old plan to do with the money? From what it sounds like, he hopes to transition from his job as a finance account manager to a full-time influencer/television personality.
“I haven’t seen the money yet. That takes a little bit contract-wise,” Pellecchia told DECIDER over a recent Zoom call. “I plan on just investing it back in myself [and] investing in new experiences to help build an audience. Hopefully, [I’ll] go on some more shows. I realized a few years back [that] I want to build businesses and be entrepreneurial. I didn’t know it would lead me to going on reality TV. But in today’s world, it’s a good way to build an audience and help build your own brand, so I’m just gonna run with that for now. “
Is Nick Pellecchia going to be on Perfect Match Season 4?
Pellecchia, who was previously crowned Mister New Jersey and is gearing up to compete for the Mr. USA competition, will also appear on Season 4 of Netflix’s Perfect Match, which drops its first batch of episodes on May 13. “It’s a totally different world,” Pellecchia said of his time on the dating show compared to his time at The Stag. “I prefer a strategic show, probably, but I had an amazing time filming Perfect Match. The crew is amazing, and it’s going to be an exciting season, so I’m stoked for you guys to see that, too.”

Did Kat Ellis really skip her brother’s wedding for Million Dollar Secret?
Yes, Kat Ellis revealed in the show that she skipped her brother’s wedding to film Million Dollar Secret. “It was a very hard conversation,” she told DECIDER. “I kept pushing it off through the casting process. I told my casting lady, ‘Hey, I’m not going to tell them if I’m not going to get on. So, you tell me when I need to tell them.’ And she finally was like, ‘Give them the heads up.’”
To her surprise, Ellis said her brother was “so supportive” of her going on the show. “He was like, ‘This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. It is life-changing, opportunity-wise. It could be life changing money-wise,’” she recalled. “They were so, so supportive.”
Unfortunately, Ellis was voted out during the final elimination dinner, meaning she not only missed her brother’s wedding, but she also returned home empty-handed. “When I FaceTimed them after getting eliminated, the first thing I said was, ‘I lost,’ because I didn’t want them to have hope for one second,” Ellis said. “They didn’t care at all.”
