Woman, man found fatally shot in East Garfield Park

A woman and man were found shot dead in East Garfield Park Tuesday afternoon, according to Chicago police.

They were found inside a home in the 3500 block of West Arthington Street at 5:50 p.m., police said in a statement. The woman, 51, was shot three times in the chest, and the man, 23, was shot once in the head, police said.

One weapon was recovered, and the shooting was under investigation, police said. No arrests were reported.
