SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — In February, we told you about a problem on Davis Street near the Embarcadero.
For years, people have been complaining about these large empty tree wells and uneven pavement. Parts of the sidewalk were cracked from the roots of a now fallen tree.
It was dangerous, and one woman actually fell and suffered injuries.

Neighbors contacted ABC7 Eyewitness News and Supervisor Danny Sauter.
The good news is that Public Works has repaired that stretch of sidewalk.
Crews were seen pouring concrete Tuesday morning and now there it is — a smooth and safe new sidewalk on Davis Street next to Sydney Walton Square.
