A man accused of making a bomb threat at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Sunday was arrested, deputies said.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, 76-year-old Robert Albanese was identified as the suspect.
Deputies said that just before 10 a.m., they received reports of a bomb threat at Terminal Four on a JetBlue plane.
At the airport, deputies took Albanese into custody, and the plane was briefly evacuated as a K9 searched for a potential bomb.
No threat was found, and passengers were able to get back on the plane.
Albanese’s charges have not been released.
