A dancer who was fired from a North Miami Beach strip club was arrested after she returned and attacked the manager with a large metal pole, authorities said.
Princess Aaliyah Bell, 23, was arrested Monday on charges including aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, resisting an officer without violence and giving a false name or identification, an arrest report said.
According to the report, North Miami Beach Police officers had responded to Taboo on Northwest 170th Street regarding a woman battering staff and causing a disturbance.
The manager of Taboo told officers Bell had been fired due to her bizarre behavior and tendency to fight with coworkers, but the manager had allowed her to come to the club to collect her belongings, the report said.
But when Bell arrived she started running around inside, throwing items, cursing and causing a disturbance, the manager said, according to the report.
Bell was escorted outside by security but returned with a 7-foot metal pole that she started waving at security before she threw it, hitting the manager in the leg, the report said.
When officers responded, staffers said Bell had fled and an officer spotted her walking near a gas station nearby, the report said.
The officer told her to stop but she fled on foot and was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit, the report said.
After she was in custody, Bell initially gave an alias of her older sister then had to be dragged into the fingerprinting bureau so she could be identified, the report said.
Bell, who the report said lives in Detroit, was taken to a hospital for a medical examination and later booked into jail.
