A two-county pursuit ended in Torrance with a driver injured and a yellow Corvette mangled on Thursday night.
The chase started in Orange County, according to the California Highway Patrol. It continued onto the westbound 91 Freeway and was in the Cerritos area around 8 p.m. before making its way into the South Bay.
Video shows the driver trying to to go on the sidewalk and crashing into a tree and a pole. The driver was hurt and eventually surrendered to police at Hawthorne and Sepulveda boulevards.
It is unclear what started the chase, but at one point, the Corvette was going over 100 miles per hour.
