Two teens were arrested and charged in a Friday burglary spree in multiple Chicago neighborhoods, police say.
According to authorities, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old were charged with three felony counts of burglary and a felony count of criminal trespass in a vehicle in connection to a series of incidents Friday morning.
Police say the teens broke into a series of businesses during the burglary spree, stealing ATM’s and cash registers.
An investigation led police to a home in the 7800 block of South Cornell, where they found the suspects along with cash, crowbars and multiple firearms.
The burglaries occurred at businesses in Logan Square, Park West and Little Village over a three-hour period Friday morning, and police tracked the pair to the South Shore neighborhood where they were arrested.
No further information was immediately available.
