San Diego Gas & Electric announced it has expanded its super off-peak pricing, which it says will help customers shift energy use to times when electricity costs less.
The expanded super off-peak pricing will now be available on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., year-round, when it was previously limited to March and April, SDG&E said.
“This change gives customers more control,” said SDG&E Chief Customer Officer Dana Golan. “Expanding super off‑peak hours year-round gives people more options to save in ways that work for their households.”
The super off-peak pricing is available on SDG&E residential and commercial time-of-use plans that include super off-peak hours.
