TMZ starts reporting on politics and pop culture in DC

Celebrity gossip won’t be the only thing TMZ covers from now on.

The well-known celebrity and entertainment news outlet announced on Monday that they will now report on news from D.C. under TMZ DC.

In an article on their website, the outlet sent three producers to Capitol Hill over the weekend to speak with members of Congress who had returned from their two-week recess.

TMZ DC said they will be “on the hunt for good stories” and will report on both pop culture and politics.

“So lawmakers and staffers in D.C., look for Jacob, Charlie and Jakson. They are nice enough guys, generally smart and sometimes even charming,” TMZ said on their website.
