A possible child luring incident is under investigation in Concord Township in Delaware County, the Pennsylvania State Police said on Thursday.
The incident happened on Tuesday, April 14, at around 3:30 p.m. at a bus stop on Sunset View Drive near Smithbridge Road, police said. There, a teen was waiting for her brother when a white man driving a “blue in color hatchback or SUV style vehicle drove past the teenager”
The man then returned and “asked if she was waiting for someone and if she would like to do so in this male’s vehicle,” police said.
According to police, they found out about the incident on Wednesday, April 15. They then canvassed the neighborhood for surveillance video and a car that matched the suspect’s description. They also interviewed neighbors.
No arrests have been made, but police are continuing to investigate and are working with school officials on the matter, police said.
Anyone with information on the incident is urged to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at the Media station.
