After being closed for three months, a major highway exit ramp is set to reopen in South Jersey.
On Saturday, April 18, at 5 p.m., the I-76 westbound Exit 1D ramp to Route 130 northbound in Gloucester City, New Jersey, will reopen.
The ramp had been closed and detoured since Jan. 19, 2026, as workers replaced a collapsed corrugated metal drainage pipe with a ductile iron pipe.
The construction work was part of a $7.1 million stormwater maintenance contract that’s leading to repairs and improvements to drainage facilities in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties.
