Two students are facing discipline after one of them was caught carrying a BB gun in their waistband on Friday, according to the Bensalem Police Department.
Police said that a student told officials at Shafer Middle School that they saw a classmate had a gun in his waistband when he lifted his shirt on Friday, April 24.
The suspected student was located by a school administrator as police responded to the building to assist.
The school administrator was able to find the gun and discovered that it was a BB gun, officials said.
The investigation revealed that a second student was involved with bringing the BB gun into the school, police said.
Shafer Middle School officials are disciplining the two students as the Bensalem Police Department investigates.
