Police are investigating after a man was badly hurt when he was shot in his legs on Thursday evening, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
The shooting happened just before 9 p.m. on April 30 near 17th and Erie streets in the Tioga section of Philadelphia, police said.
A 62-year-old man was shot three times in the legs and officers said they found him on a walkway leading up to his home when they responded to the scene.
The man was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was placed in critical condition.
Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small told NBC10 that investigators believe the man was shot inside the home’s living room.
No one hasn’t been arrested yet and investigators have not revealed a description for the suspect, or suspects, wanted in this case.
