A new concept in the same space is in the works, according to the owner.
After 25 years in business, a bistro known for its farm-to-table menu in Jamaica Plain and that once spanned multiple locations is closing for good before the new year, but a new concept may take its place soon enough, according to an announcement from the owner.
Krista Kranyak, who opened Ten Tables “at a time when farm-to-table was still more philosophy than practice,” said in the closure announcement that Ten Tables’ last day of dinner service would be New Year’s Eve.
“Between now and then, we would be honored to welcome you in for one more Ten Tables dinner — one last cozy night in our dining room, one more round of your favorite dishes, one more toast in this room we’ve been honored to share with you,” the post read. “I’m closing this chapter with immense gratitude — for every guest who squeezed into one of our tiny table tops, every farmer who showed up at the back door, and every member of our team who poured their heart into this restaurant.”
The beloved, seasonal bistro once operated out of Provincetown and Cambridge, though both those locations closed in 2014 and 2016, respectively.
It may be the end of Ten Tables, but in Kranyak’s post about the closure, the owner hinted at a new concept on the horizon.
“In this same beloved space, I’ll be reimagining what comes next: a new concept that honors the intentional, crafted, and change-making purpose that is my passion. I can’t wait to share more soon,” the post read.
