A large brush fire was burning in the Florida Everglades in western Broward County on Tuesday.
Fire rescue crews responded to the fire was off U.S. 27 west of Pembroke Pines.
Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed thick smoke rising into the air from the fire as it burned near the roadway.

A helicopter could be seen dumping water onto portions of the fire.
According to the Florida Forest Service, the fire was burning around 11 acres and was 0% contained as of 1:50 p.m.
No other details were immediately known.
