Person struck, killed in crash along Route 73 in Berlin Twp., NJ, officials say

An investigation is underway after a pedestrian was killed in a crash along Route 73 in New Jersey on Monday morning, police said.

At about 6:59 a.m. on Monday, NBC10’s SkyForce10 helicopter captured footage after a box truck, spotted with significant front end damage, appeared to be involved in a deadly crash that happened along Route 73 at Franklin Avenue in Berlin Township, New Jersey.

A person was confirmed to have been killed in this crash,

However, as of about 9 a.m., police have not provided further information on the victim in this incident, nor have they said what may have led to this deadly crash.

An investigation into the crash is currently ongoing, officials said.
