Four people, including two police officers, were injured following a two-vehicle crash in Philadelphia’s Hunting Park neighborhood.
The crash happened just after 2 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Reese and Hunting Park, police said.
Police said the vehicle, which they called a “Smart car,” occupied by two 30-year-old women, had struck a police car with two officers inside.
The front of the “Smart car” has significant damage, including the windshield.
Police said that both women had injuries to their faces and heads, even though the airbags were deployed. The driver’s side of the police vehicle was damaged, and the airbags had also deployed.
According to police, the officer who was driving suffered injuries to his face during the crash, and the other officer who was in the passenger seat reported pain as well.
Police shared that both officers, as well as the women in the other vehicle, were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated.
Before the crash, police said that the officers were patrolling the area while searching for a man involved in a domestic assault.
At this time, police said crash investigators will use nearby surveillance cameras to gather more information regarding this incident.
