An Amazon delivery driver who intentionally struck and killed a man during a road rage incident in Allentown, Pennsylvania, was captured by U.S. Marshals in Philadelphia, officials said.
The initial incident occurred on Nov. 21, 2025, on the 2400 block of South 4th Street in Allentown, according to investigators. Troy Johnson, a 30-year-old Amazon delivery driver, was traveling in the area when he got into an argument with a 29-year-old man, according to officials.
Johnson allegedly intentionally struck the other man with his vehicle and then fled the scene. The 29-year-old man later died from his injuries.
On Dec. 10, a warrant was issued for Johnson and the case was delegated to the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
On Wednesday, Dec. 17, around 7:30 a.m., the Fugitive Task force from Allentown and Philadelphia as well as Allentown Police detectives responded to a home where Johnson’s relatives lived on the 5400 block of Norfolk Street in Southwest Philadelphia. Johnson was found at the home, arrested without incident and transported to Lehigh County.
