Man struck by hit-and-run driver in Cobbs Creek, Philly police say

A man is in critical condition after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Philadelphia’s Cobbs Creek neighborhood overnight, police said.

The man was on Cobbs Creek Parkway and Walnut Street around midnight on Friday when he was struck by a vehicle which then fled the scene, according to investigators. The man was taken to the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he is currently in critical condition.

Police have not yet released a description of the hit-and-run vehicle or the suspect.
