One person in custody after active shooter situation at Wilmington, Delaware DMV

One person is in custody after an active shooter situation was reported at a DMV in Wilmington, Delaware, police said.

Delaware State Police shared on social media Tuesday afternoon that an incident was unfolding at a DMV on Hessler Boulevard in Wilmington.

In an update that said there is no longer an active shooter, and one suspect is in custody.

“There is no longer an active shooter and one suspect is in custody,” police wrote.
