Heartwarming reunion: ACCT Philly reunites lost dog with owner after four years

A reunion, four years in the making.

This week, a dog and her owner were finally reunited, thanks to the Animal Care & Control Team of Philadelphia (ACCT Philly).

The non-profit said the dog’s owner filed a lost pet report four years ago, and later moved to Wisconsin.

Recently, someone found the dog, whose name is Cipo, just less than three miles from where she first disappeared.

ACCT Philly thinks someone likely found her and kept her without checking for a microchip.

The owner was so eager to get her back that he traveled through a snowstorm this weekend to reach her at ACCT Philly.
