The city of Philadelphia is launching a new campaign aimed at recruiting key people needed for free and fair elections.
On Tuesday, Feb. 3, city commissioners kicked off a month-long push to recruit 250 new poll workers to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The goal is to have the poll workers in place for the 2026 primary election in May.
Anyone in Philadelphia interested in becoming a poll worker can sign up online by clicking here.
