A New York man faces charges after officials said he sexually assaulted two girls in Pennsylvania, both of whom he met through social media apps.
Dijani Brown, 28, of Yonkers, New York, was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force after officials said he was wanted for sexual assault.
Officials allege that on October 12, 2025, Brown assaulted a 13-year-old girl in Manor Township, Lancaster County and on October 14, Brown assaulted a 14-year-old girl in Horsham Township, Montgomery County.
In both cases, officials said Brown met the victims through “friend finder apps,” lied about his age, and assaulted the girls in his vehicle.
Officials said a warrant in Montgomery County was issued on November 20, 2025 and a warrant in Lancaster County was issued on January 20, 2026.
After Brown failed to surrender to Horsham Police, police said members of the U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Task Force and investigators from the Marshals Task Force in Philadelphia apprehended Brown at a residence in Yonkers. He was taken to Westchester County jail, where he awaits extradition to Pennsylvania.
“The arrest of Dijani Brown removes a sexual predator from the community and underscores the seriousness with which the Marshal Service treats warrants involving children.” Supervisory Deputy Marshal for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Robert Clark said in a news release.
Resources for victims of sexual assault are available through the National Sexual Violence Resources Center and the National Sexual Assault Telephone Hotline at 800-656-4673.
