The men’s alpine skiing super-G kicked off day five in Milan Cortina. Franjo von Allmen continued his Olympics sweep and became the third athlete ever to take home three gold medals in alpine skiing events at a single Olympics. Team USA’s Ryan Cochran-Siegle clinched silver in the event.
Team USA went 1-2 in women’s freeski moguls, with Liz Lemley taking home gold in her Olympic debut and Jaelin Kauf defending her silver title in the event.
Later in the day, Jordan Stolz won a gold medal and set an Olympic record in the men’s speed skating 1000m. Madison Chock and Evan Bates capped off the day with a silver medal in ice dance.
