A family in South Jersey came together on Tuesday night to remember 23-year-old Emmaliz Rosado, who was killed in a car crash in Vineland on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026.
According to police, the crash happened at around 9:14 a.m. in the area of Delsea Drive and Sherman Avenue.
An initial investigation into the crash found that Rosado, who was driving a 2005 Honda Civic, made contact with the front passenger side of a 2009 Ford Flex as both cars drove north on Delsea Drive, police said.
The contact caused Rosado’s car to lose control and go into the opposing lane of traffic, where it crashed into a 2017 Peterbilt commercial truck.
Rosado’s car received severe damage and she had to be extricated from the vehicle, police said. She was then taken to the hospital, where she passed away from her injuries.
On Tuesday, family and friends left balloons, flowers and candles in front of her home in Millville.

“I really don’t know what to do right now. I don’t know how to feel,” one attendee said. “I don’t know what to express really because this is just hard. And, just be careful on the roads and love each other. That’s all I can say, honestly, just love each other.”
Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact Officer Christian Morales of the Vineland Police Department at cmorales@vinelandcity.org or 856-691-4111 ext. 4942 and reference VPD Case # 26-9591, police said.
