An NJ Transit bus driver was indicted by a grand jury on Wednesday after being charged with leaving the scene of a deadly crash in Absecon, New Jersey last year, officials said.
According to law enforcement officials in New Jersey, Christopher L. Younger, 41, of Pleasantville, NJ, was indicted after being charged with leaving the scene of a deadly crash after an incident that happened in Absecon, NJ, on Nov. 30, 2025.
In that incident, officials claim, Younger was behind the wheel of an NJ Transit bus that struck and killed 63-year-old Thomas V. Kyle, from Absecon, as Kyle attempted to cross Shore Road at about 6 p.m., that day.
In investigation into the incident, officials said, found Younger failed was operating the bus at the time the crash occurred and failed to stop at the scene after the incident.
Police said an investigation into this crash is still underway.
