The family of a man who was shot and killed during Lincoln University’s homecoming has filed a lawsuit against the school.
Ju’Juan Jeffers, 20, was killed when gunfire erupted during a large party near the school’s International Cultural Center on Oct. 25, 2025.
Six other people were hurt in the shooting and investigators said that multiple shooters may have been involved.
The complaint filed on Thursday, March 5 claims the school ignored safety warnings and failed to provide enough security.
Jeffers’ family hopes the lawsuit leads to real change to make Lincoln University safer.
NBC10 has reached out to Lincoln University for comment and is waiting to hear back.
