Two suspects are wanted after two robberies happened outside of a casino in Wilmington on Sunday, according to the Delaware State Police.
The first robbery happened as two people were walking through the parking lot of the Delaware Park Casino on the 700 block of Delaware Park Boulevard in Wilmington on March 8, police said.
According to police, two people got out of a Nissan sedan and approached the two victims with handguns.
The suspects demanded the belongings from the victims and they handed over their items, officials said.
Then, the two suspects drove away in the Nissan, police explained.
Investigators said that the same suspects went back to the casino and threatened another victim – identified as a 24-year-old from Pennsylvania – with their guns before demanding the victim’s belongings.
During this robbery, one of the suspects hit the victim over the head with their gun and stole the victim’s car keys, police said.
The two suspects then drove away in their Nissan sedan as well as the victim’s car, investigators explained.
The 24-year-old victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to be okay.
Then, later at night on Sunday, law enforcement officials said they found the victim’s stolen car in the city of Wilmington and began to chase it.
At one point, the suspect left the car near Bradford and B streets before running away on foot, officials said.
No arrests have been in this case yet.
