Live: Fire crews work to extinguish burning barge on the Delaware River in Del.

Smoke filled the skies along the shores of the Delaware River in Delaware on Tuesday as fire crews worked to extinguish flames on a burning barge.

At about 11 a.m., SkyForce10 captured footage of firefighters working to extinguish flames on a barge, off the coast of Reedy Island in the Delaware River, in New Castle County, Delaware.

Officials did not immediately say what caused the fire or if anyone was injured in this incident.

But, NBC10 is working to learn more.
