New Jersey’s Six Flags Great Adventure to undergo transformation. Here’s what’s changing

Theme park lovers, get ready for your next “adventure.”

Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township, New Jersey, announced plans to transform The Boardwalk, the park’s twist on a classic shorefront escape. 

Set to debut in late spring 2026, the project promises thrilling new rides, refreshed dining experiences, and additional enhancements.

This exciting project is part of a multi-year investment plan for the park, with construction currently ongoing for a new 2027 “multi-world-record-breaking launch roller coaster.”
