A man was badly hurt after a shooting in North Philly on Monday evening, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
Officers were called to the intersection of North 22nd and West Lippincott streets just before 7 p.m. after reports of gunfire, police said.
When they got to the scene, they said they found a 35-year-old man who was shot several times throughout his body.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was placed in extremely critical condition, police said.
Investigators explained that no one has been arrested yet and the motive for this shooting remains unknown.
The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group is investigating.
